Two systems, two clocks
State parks open one day at a time at 8 a.m. Yosemite opens a month at a time on the 15th at 7 a.m. Here's each, with the source.

Campsites and lodging open on a rolling window, up to six months before arrival. Each morning one more arrival day opens.
California State Parks: Booking and Fees, checked November 2, 2026
- Yosemite campgrounds
Upper Pines, Lower Pines, North Pines, Wawona and Hodgdon Meadow open a month of arrivals at a time, on the 15th, at 7 a.m. Pacific. NPS calls it "five months in advance".
