California State Parks campground
Doheny State Beach campground reservations
Dana Point, CA
Doheny, California's first state beach, has a campground at its south end with some sites a short walk from the sand: $65 a night beach side, $50 standard, RVs and tents both. Since July 1, 2026 sites open only 3 months ahead, because State Parks is preparing to close the campground for a rebuild sometime between 2027 and 2029.
The booking rule here is a temporary 3-month window, not California's usual 6 (since July 1, 2026). The rest works like the California State Parks rules.

Before any reminder, you'll get one email asking you to confirm. It comes from New England Reservations (hello@newenglandreservations.com), our sister site. Unsubscribe anytime. See the privacy policy.
